Welcome to BRATGEN.SITE, a brat-style text generator platform (the “Service”). By accessing or using our website at https://bratgen.site (“the Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Site.

1. Description of Service

BRATGEN.SITE is a free, browser-based tool that lets you generate styled text images on an HTML Canvas and export them as PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG, or GIF. All image generation happens in your browser. We do not store or process your text input or generated images on our servers.

2. Acceptable Use

This Site is not directed at children under the age of 16. By using the Site, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old.

You may use the Site to create and export images for personal or commercial purposes, subject to the following restrictions. You must not:

  • Generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes any third-party rights.
  • Use the tool to reproduce or imitate trademarks, logos, or copyrighted material in a way that could deceive or mislead others.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure.
  • Use automated tools to bulk-generate images in a way that places unreasonable load on the Site.

3. User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for the text and images you create using this tool. We do not review, moderate, or retain any content you generate. By using the Site you confirm that:

  • You have the right to use any text, brand names, or other content you input
  • Your use of generated images complies with applicable laws and platform rules (e.g. social media terms of service)

We are not liable for any content you generate or your distribution of it, including any claims arising from infringement of third-party rights, defamation, or violation of applicable platform rules.

4. Intellectual Property

The fonts used on this Site are subject to their respective licenses (SIL Open Font License or equivalent). The font license texts shipped with the Site are available under /fonts/{font-name}/OFL.txt. Third-party JavaScript library attributions included in our production build are published at https://bratgen.site/THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.txt.

Generated images are your own output. We claim no rights over them.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Site will be available at all times or free of errors
  • Exported files will meet your specific technical or platform requirements
  • Any feature will remain available or unchanged in future versions

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BRATGEN.SITE and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or reputation.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the greater of USD $10 or the amount you paid to use the Site in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand what data is collected and how it is used.

If you opt in through the cookie banner, the Site may also use optional measurement tools — Google Analytics for web analytics and Microsoft Clarity for behavioral analytics, including session recordings and heatmaps — to understand how the Site is used.

8. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
